2020 Ford Mustang FN 2020MY R-SPEC Fastback 2dr Man 6sp RWD 5.0SC done ONLY 13000kms. The R-SPEC is a special, limited-edition version of the 2020 Ford Mustang, offered only in Australia. It was created through a collaboration between the local distributor Herrod Performance and Ford Australia with ONLY 500 UNITS (unit number 357/500) ever made.
Under the bonnet is a 5.0 litre V8 (Coyote) with a supercharger — specifically, a Roush/Herrod 2.65-litre roots-type . supercharger delivering approx. 522 kW.
While official torque values aren’t always published, the supercharged setup is often reported as producing up to 827 Nm in the R-SPEC — well above the standard Mustang GT’s 556 Nm.
Compared to a regular Mustang GT, the R-SPEC rides on firmer, lowered springs (about 20 mm lower), and uses an adaptive MagneRide suspension system with bespoke tuning — adjusting damping up to 100 times per second.
