Gender Pay Equity Statement
We recently completed our annual submission to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), which provides an important opportunity to review our progress and reflect on where further improvement is required.
Our latest results show a continued reduction in our gender pay gap over recent years, demonstrating sustained momentum in the right direction. While this progress is encouraging, we recognise that the gender pay gap remains a complex and multifaceted issue that cannot be resolved through a single action or initiative.
Gender pay outcomes are shaped by broader workforce patterns, including representation across roles and leadership levels, occupational segregation, career pathways, and access to flexible work arrangements. These factors are particularly relevant within the automotive sector, where long-standing industry dynamics continue to influence participation and progression.
We remain committed to building a workplace where people are supported to contribute and succeed regardless of gender. Our approach focuses on strengthening inclusive leadership, improving visibility of diverse career pathways, supporting flexibility across different stages of life, and ensuring our systems and practices promote fairness and transparency.
Looking ahead, we will continue to review remuneration outcomes, monitor workforce data, and invest in initiatives that support attraction, development, and retention of women across our organisation. We see gender equity not only as a compliance obligation, but as a key driver of organisational capability, culture, and long-term sustainability.
We acknowledge that progress requires ongoing attention and accountability, and we are committed to continuing this work as part of creating a fair and inclusive workplace for all.
